Healthy Nachos and Tired Puppies

So far I have good news! I had a very promising phone interview a few days ago which led to an in-person interview early next week, so I will keep you posted!

In other news, the fiancé and I are trying the whole healthy eating, working out thing.  We are both big fans of working out, but unfortunately we have been known to head over to Applebee’s for a late night snack of half-priced appetizers, aka we ruin any progress that we make at the gym.  While I am trying to be healthier for the whole live longer, happier, stronger thing, I can’t help but say that engagement pictures and wedding dress shopping give me a very good reason to step up my game.

I’ve been making some healthy changes, and am proud to say that they are not all as horrible as I’d thought! The fiancé was in the mood for his delicious chili nachos, and while they were tempting, I took a healthier alternative and tried Katy Grace’s Bell Pepper Nachos, and needless to say, they were delicious!

I was able to use some of the ingredients that he was using, but keep it completely vegetarian.

We have been so busy moving him out of his place that we hadn’t had a chance to workout properly.  This morning, we went on a run, and wanted to take Keelo along because he hadn’t been out of the neighborhood in a long time.  Unfortunately, we went out right before noon and our poor pup was too hot to go too long, even once we switched to walking.

So precious!

I am very interested in how far I can push myself and my body (healthily of course), and I will be sure to update my progress here! I have read that people who blog about it have a better chance at succeeding!

Enough for now, but I wanted to tell you that I really appreciate everyone that has been reading!
